When a standard colour is not enough
Sports clubs, fashion labels and corporate uniform programmes often need a very specific shade: the exact navy of a club crest, the signature orange of a logistics company or the seasonal colour of a fashion collection. Standard colour cards cover most needs, but a visible mismatch between the vinyl logo and the garment or the printed brand guide immediately looks unprofessional.
VENYL's colour lab formulates custom pigment recipes for our PVC and PU series so your transfers match your reference precisely.
Our colour-matching process
Reference
Send a Pantone® (PMS) code, a physical swatch, a fabric sample or a previous vinyl sample. Physical references give the most accurate result.
Lab dip
Our colourists formulate a recipe and coat small lab dips under controlled conditions. Each dip is measured with a spectrophotometer.
Approval
We send you the lab dips with a Delta-E (ΔE) report. You approve the best match or request a correction round.
Production & archiving
The approved recipe is stored. Each production batch is measured against the master sample so repeat orders stay consistent.
How accurate is the match?
For most solid colours we achieve a ΔE of less than 1.5 against the reference under D65 light, which is generally not visible to the human eye. Very bright neon shades and metallic colours can have a slightly larger tolerance because pigments and effect layers behave differently from printing inks.

Minimums and lead times
Custom colours start at 100 rolls (50 cm × 25 m) per shade. Lab dips take 5–7 working days; production follows in 15–20 working days after approval.
