How to Apply VENYL® HTV
Mirror & cut
Mirror the design and cut with the shiny carrier facing down.
Weed
Remove excess vinyl with a hook tool right after cutting.
Press
Pre-press, position, cover and press with the calculated settings.
Peel & post-press
Peel at the right temperature and post-press for 3–5 seconds.
Heat Press Instructions
- Cover with Heat Transfer Cover Sheet or Multiuse Paper
- If needed, preheat the garment for up to 3 seconds
- Apply article at 285°F/140°C (for NS, ST and RF series)
- Use medium pressure for 5–15 seconds
- Smooth peeling carries on hot and cool (depends on the material)
Home Iron Instructions
- Set iron temperature dial between Cotton and Linen
- Preheat the material if needed
- Cover with Heat Transfer Cover Sheet or Multiuse Paper
- Use flat and hard surface (soft or ironing board not recommended)
- Press the iron with medium/firm pressure (do not slide iron)
Important note after application of VENYL HTV
- Wait 24 hours before the first wash.
- Machine wash warm or cold with mild detergent.
- Dry on normal dryer setting. Do not dry clean.
- A liquid fabric softener is not recommended.
