PF – PUFF 3D HEAT TRANSFER VINYL
PF PUFF HTV is a special foaming vinyl that expands under heat, creating a soft, raised, rounded 3D surface. It reproduces the popular vintage puff-print look without screen-printing equipment.
PUFF is ideal for retro typography, kids' apparel, hoodies, caps and merch where a playful, touchable effect sells.

The secret is light pressure
Unlike other HTV, PUFF needs light pressure – heavy pressure prevents the foam from rising. Press for 8–10 seconds, peel the carrier cold, then (optionally) re-press for 3–5 seconds without a cover sheet, hovering the platen, to let the puff rise fully.

Heat Press Instructions
- Cover with Heat Transfer Cover Sheet or Multipurpose Paper
- Preheat garment for 2–3 seconds
- Apply design at 150 °C / 302 °F
- Use medium pressure for 8–10 s
- Peel carrier: cold
Home Iron Instructions
- Set iron dial between Cotton and Linen, steam off
- Cover with Heat Transfer Cover Sheet or Multipurpose Paper
- Place on flat, hard surface (ironing board not recommended)
- Press iron with medium/firm pressure (do not slide iron)
- Press 20–30 s per area, then from the reverse side
Important note after application of VENYL HTV
- Wait 24 hours before the first wash.
- Machine wash warm or cold with mild detergent.
- Dry on normal dryer setting. Do not dry clean.
- A liquid fabric softener is not recommended.
- Do not iron directly on the design.
