PRINTABLE PU HEAT TRANSFER VINYL
Printable PU HTV is a white or transparent polyurethane film designed for eco-solvent, solvent and latex printers. Print full-colour photos, gradients and multi-colour logos, then contour-cut them on a print & cut plotter.
The thin PU film is extremely soft and stretchy, making it suitable for sportswear and fashion where a light hand-feel is essential.

Print & cut workflow
- Print with the correct ICC profile and let the inks out-gas for at least 6–12 hours.
- Contour-cut using registration marks.
- Weed and apply with a transfer mask (application tape for printable HTV).
- Press at 150 °C for 15 s, peel cold.
Allowing proper out-gassing is the most important step: residual solvent weakens adhesion and can cause edge lifting after washing.
Heat Press Instructions
- Cover with Heat Transfer Cover Sheet or Multipurpose Paper
- Preheat garment for 2–3 seconds
- Apply design at 150 °C / 302 °F
- Use medium pressure for 15 s
- Peel carrier: cold
Home Iron Instructions
- Set iron dial between Cotton and Linen, steam off
- Cover with Heat Transfer Cover Sheet or Multipurpose Paper
- Place on flat, hard surface (ironing board not recommended)
- Press iron with medium/firm pressure (do not slide iron)
- Press 20–30 s per area, then from the reverse side
Important note after application of VENYL HTV
- Wait 24 hours before the first wash.
- Machine wash warm or cold with mild detergent.
- Dry on normal dryer setting. Do not dry clean.
- A liquid fabric softener is not recommended.
- Do not iron directly on the design.
