MT – METALLIC – HEAT TRANSFER VINYL
Metallic Series HTV with a PET sticky material – a highly reflective, mirror-like heat transfer vinyl. It applies with a low application temperature of 140 °C and a very stable and simple warm peel.
MT – Metallic Series HTV is a thin and flexible vinyl material that is easy to cut, weed, and apply. The metallic finish gives it a unique, eye-catching look that is perfect for designs on garments and other fabrics.

How to use MT HTV
- Design your artwork and mirror it.
- Load MT with the shiny side down and cut.
- Weed carefully – metallic films show every scratch, so work on a clean surface.
- Press at 140 °C for 8–10 seconds with a cover sheet.
- Peel warm to reveal the metallic finish.
Metallic foils are sensitive to over-heating: too much temperature dulls the shine. Always use a cover sheet and avoid re-pressing directly on the film.
Heat Press Instructions
- Cover with Heat Transfer Cover Sheet or Multipurpose Paper
- Preheat garment for 2–3 seconds
- Apply design at 140 °C / 284 °F
- Use medium pressure for 8–10 s
- Peel carrier: warm
Home Iron Instructions
- Set iron dial between Cotton and Linen, steam off
- Cover with Heat Transfer Cover Sheet or Multipurpose Paper
- Place on flat, hard surface (ironing board not recommended)
- Press iron with medium/firm pressure (do not slide iron)
- Press 20–30 s per area, then from the reverse side
Important note after application of VENYL HTV
- Wait 24 hours before the first wash.
- Machine wash warm or cold with mild detergent.
- Dry on normal dryer setting. Do not dry clean.
- A liquid fabric softener is not recommended.
- Do not iron directly on the design.
